Lift Truck Operator Training Program Purpose: To help workplaces train their workers to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety act guideline for Lift Truck Operators. To help workplaces prevent accidents involving lift trucks costing the company time and money. To help workers feel safe and confident in their workplace Method: A theory portion of Lift Truck training, which may include training in propane cylinder exchange. This theory has a time allotted of 8 hours, including propane training, which consist of 2 hours. An onsite evaluation, which consists of assessing the operator’s ability to apply theory and follow company safety practices while operating the lift truck. This may take up to 1-hour per. person. The evaluation also includes pre-shift inspection of the lift truck. The onsite portion of training is mandated by C.S.A. standards to be at least 8 hours for new operators. The only way to do this efficiently for you as the employer and us as the trainer is as follows: We offer a practical as required to perform the details described in the operator training manual: the employer will continue to monitor the activities of such trainees to meet the time allotted by C.S.A. Our courses are all specific to your application. The course may be at your location if you have suitable facilities. (This can be a clean quiet place in a warehouse or factory.). If propane training is not needed a reduction in cost will be given to your company. Certificates: Each trained operator will receive a certificate of operator training and propane Record Of Training wallet card (if applicable). Your company will also receive a wall certificate with all the trained employee’s names on it. The expiry date for both certificates is every two years from the issue date. Credibility of Training: The courses have been developed in association with the I.A.P.A, T.S.A.O and the O.S.S.A and have been accredited by the T.S.S.A. We endeavor to offer a professional course that does not just meet safety standards but will give your employees a professional level of training. This will help to develop a professional attitude in your employees as well. Pricing: We have a maximum class size of 15 people; this may be adjusted in regard to facilities and companies that are close but slightly over the maximum. Each company will be quoted individually to serve your needs the best we can. We have a graduated price list to offer you more value for training several employees. All prices subject to change.
