And now we introduce the ARCTIC WAVE, a completely self -contained 12v DC system to install on just about any size boat. Designed with outboard motor powered boats in mind, there is no need for auxiliary generators running all night.
The new ARCTIC WAVE rooftop system only draws 45 amps/hr and produces 6800 BTU/hr of cooling. This rugged unit is virtually maintenance free and comes pre-charged with R134a refrigerant. No more searching for an AC tech to charge your system. The unit incorporates an aluminum fin/copper tube condenser. The large custom designed condenser provides maximum cooling capacity in a small area. The unit is built from aluminum and stainless steel to resist corrosion and provide years of service. No need to run an engine, power inverter or even a generator.
Each unit comes with an integrated battery isolator to reduce the risk of depleting your starting batteries. Additional battery packages are available.
